I've made low calorie versions of chocolate chips cookies, I've made those call "fit" cookies with "fit" ingredients. But nothing in this world like a real, chewy and delicious chocolate chip cookie with all the butter and the sugar. Because at the end of the day, if you are looking for a small treat, it's better if you do it right, right?

The smell or baked cookies is something unique, I wish there was a candle with baked cookies essence, so my house can smell like that all the time haha (joking)

All jokes aside. My relationship with cookies is pretty balanced, I supposed that's why I can make a batch of 10 - 15 cookies, eat just one and leave the rest on the pantry.

Now, if you know that you can't control yourself, and you are one of those people that can't stop eating until there is not food left, I would recommend you to: 1. Work on your mindset and relationship with food, because there could be a deep problem that you might want to pay attention to. 2. Practice moderation, and as you do so, try making versions of cookies with fewer calories than this recipe. 3. If you are going to eat the damn cookie, do it without guilt. Enjoy it, make a full experience of it and understand that you don't have to eat all the cookies in one sit, you can leave some for the next days.

Now, after all my fit chat, I would like to invite you to make the most delicious chocolate chip cookie ever! But... before we start, let me give you some chocolate chips cookies tips.

  • All ovens are different, even if I tell you to bake the cookies for 10 min, make sure that you pay attention to your cookies when they are being in the oven because your cookies could take longer or faster to cook depending on your oven.
  • If you want your cookies more chewy in the inside, let them cook just when they are golden and about to turn brown. On the other side, if you want your cookies more crunchy, cook them until they are fully brown (don't burn them please)
  • The final amount of cookies will depend on the size of your cookies.
  • Let the cookies rest on a tray for at least 8 min after coming out of the oven.

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  2. Start mixing the ingredients in a bowl. Start by mixing the sugars and butter
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until creamy
  4. Sieve the flour, and add the baking soda, and chocolate chunks
  5. Once the dough is well combined, add the chocolate chunks
  6. Prepare a tray with baking paper
  7. Start making balls with the dough with the help of two tablespoons and place them on the tray with a good distance between each ball (it will depend on the size of your cookies)
  8. Bake them for about 10 min or until they look ready for you
