This recipe is 80% vegetables and you will not believe its amazing and tasty flavour!

Before we make this delicious recipe, let's talk a bit about the benefits of some of the ingredients of this smoothie. Beetroot is a natural cleanser, it is packed with Vitamin C, folate, iron, magnesium and other powerful antioxidants that helps prevent constipation. It promotes a healthy digestive tract, it might lower glucose levels, lower blood pressure, reduce inflammation and improves athletic performance. Other of the ingredients of this smoothie are: Mint, ginger, spinach, arugula and banana. Which contains other important vitamins (Vitamin A, B2, B6, K...) and minerals (Magnese, calcium, iron, copper, magnesium...) that also provide health benefits to our bodies such as: proper functioning of the body, hormone balance, provide antioxidants and much more! INGREDIENTS

  • 1 roasted or boiled pealed medium beetroot
  • 1 handful spinach leaves
  • 1 handful arugula leaves
  • 1 handful mint leaves
  • 1/2 or 1 small pealed frozen banana
  • 1/2 small fig
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon raw ginger
  • Ice (Optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

Place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend for 2 seconds, pause for 1 second and repeat this process 6 times or until the smoothie is homogenous and has the perfect consistency!
